Heartiest Condolences to Popatlal Secondary for the loss of their former Headteacher

Young Scientists Tanzania is very sorry to hear about the death of Kulwant Rai Chaudry, Former Head Teacher of Popatlal Secondary School, Tanga (1968-2004).

Mr.Chaudry was a great supporter of Young Scientists Tanzania. He was very happy in 2011, when we introduced the Young Scientist to his former school and when he realised the connection with Ireland. Every year since then, he made sure to meet our YST Science Advisors when in Tanga. His late son Naresh (R.I.P.) was a past pupil at Popatlal and lived in Ireland with his family, where he worked as a doctor. Mr. Chaudry is survived by his wife, son, sisters in law and grandchildren.

At the recent Regional Workshop in Tanga, held at Popatlal Secondary School,  a minutes silence was observed for private prayer  in his memory. R.I.P.
