Outreach Mwanza

YST had the opportunity to organize a workshop for science teachers in Mwanza region on 10th April 2012 at Butimba TTC. The workshop was attended by teachers from ten schools from the region. Teachers were fascinated by the approaches YST is using to improve the level of science and science education in Tanzania. “YST has come at the right time especially given the increasing lack of students’ interest in sciences and YST will for sure change the situation”, remarked Mr. Vicent Kibambila, the teacher from Butimba secondary school.
