Outreach Activities
St. Peters Claver, Dodoma. Principle, Fr. Kizito Busobozi, Teacher Emmanuel Komba and YSTs Science Officer Dr. Brendan Doggett discuss their project submission
In May, the organisers of YST met with teachers and principles of 10 schools in Morogoro region.
They were:
- St. Peters Seminary
- Sumaye
- Monzin
- Morogoro International
- Morogoro Secondary
- Presbytarian Seminary
- Kilakala
- Mzumbe
- Lutheran Junior Seminary
- Bigwa Sisters
The science officer for YST, Dr. Brendan Doggett also arranged for the teachers to attend the annual Institute of Physics workshops held in the Morogoro teacher training college in July each year. he said " This is a great opportunity for science teachers of Morogoro to come together and train up in the latest equipment being provided by the IOP in Tanzania"
Afterwards YST traveled to Dodoma for a visit to 4 schools taking part in the competition. They were:
